//mummy where are you? @4:44 PM
Finally time to sit down and update my blog.
Sorry for all the late replies to my frens who msg or read my blog.
Actually there's alwaz alot of things on my mine dat i wan
to say out or vent out on my blog but everytime
my mind juz go blank the moment my fingers are on the keyboard.
First, a brief description of wat i did in japan for two weeks.
Went to Japan for two weeks of kendo training from the 9th to the 24th Jun.
I still remember how i felt when i was at Changi Airport
waiting to board the plane. I wasn't excited like any other trips
because we all know the purpose of our trip to
Japan and we were all aware of our kendo condition and level in Singapore.
But wat i nvr expect was the experience that we gain from dis trip
was much more den wat we expected.
Before we went 4the trip, we were all thinking of how good Japan kendo is
and how we are going to get tortured by their hard trainings and how lousy we
are going to be showing them our kendo level. And although all these were all
how true but wat i learn from this trip was not how hard training is, how good
japan kendo is or how lousy we are in japan. Its all about enjoying NOT ONLY
kendo but things dat u chose to do or not a choice to do in yur life, all about appreciating the people around u and the things u have in yur life. Many people i felt including myself thinks dat kendo wasn't like dis in the past or it wasn't as much enjoyable as last time when we started but many people don't realise dat
fun & Enjoyment comes from within the person themselves.
NOT from the choices dey make.
NOT from the sports dey are in.
NOT from the situation dey r in.
Kendo is the same as life.
Winning or losing is not wat we need in life.
I may or may not stop kendo in future. but wat i know is dat
my life has not stopped.
There are people who are still in kendo but their life has came to a halt
because dey are not living life to the fullest or even not living their life.
There were misunderstandings, unhappiness, anxiety and extreme depression
during my trip in Japan. I couldn't handle the situations well and i broke down.
But when i came back to Singapore, and when i tink back about it, i can't help
but laugh at myself how come i couldn't cope with such a problem.
Anyway i had some regrets in Japan and now i'm trying not to have
too much regrets in life.
Dis trip has been very valuable to me because i get to see
so many of our senseis who cares about us alot
even though dey have oredi left Singapore.
They have nvr given hope on us and we shld nvr give up 4dem.
